Simon is a young human, presumably from a version of Earth. He is the twin brother of Benny and they are both brothers to Annie. They have been in Amaranth's kingdom before for successful adventures, and when they return they are happy to pick up where they left off.
Previously Benny and Simon learned from a Satyr mage how to use magic. They never view their adventures as unreal, unlike their sister, and they have a secret, hidden room that they use to play.
Simon is quite taken by the Elves and their beauty and grace, and he seems especially to enjoy their time in the Elves' forest. Like his brother, he is happy to lend his magical talents to the situation and helps to liberate the Seer and defeat the Stone Emperor.
